An international initiative designed to encourage youngsters into sport arrived in Ireland.
The campaign, called 50 Sports in 50 Weeks, is designed to tackle childhood obesity and the declining activity levels in kids and families and as part of the tour, took in Dublin, Cork and Tipperary.
During the 10-day campaign, Australian family, headed by Paul Brown and accompanied by his wife Jacqui and son Ben, have lined up a series of activities to such as Gaelic football and hurling. The family is on a global mission to promote sports and healthy lifestyles to kids and grown-ups everywhere. Their mission is to experience 50 Sports in 50 Weeks, visiting 50 of the most iconic locations around the globe and learning about each sport from 50 of the greatest athletes, champion teams, sporting legends and role models they can find.
